Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chadha’s Fukrey 3 to release on this date

Fukrey 3, the third instalment in Excel Entertainment’s slacker-comedy film series, is set to release on September 7, the makers announced on Tuesday. The film stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha, Manjot Singh, and Pankaj Tripathi.  Ali Fazal, who starred in the previous features, will not be part of Fukrey 3.

Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment. Mrighdeep previously directed Fukrey and Fukrey Returns.

Meanwhile, Richa with her husband Ali has set up a production company, Pushing Buttons Studios. The shooting of their first film Girls Will Be Girls wrapped up recently. Fukrey (2013) was a hit and received rave reviews, however, its sequel couldn’t leave an impact at the box office.
