As per reports, after the ceremony concluded, Suniel and his son Ahan Shetty came out of the venue and distributed sweets to the media personnel stationed outside the venue.

The father-son duo donned Indian ethnic wear. While Suniel wore a crepe-coloured kurta and pyjama, his son was seen decked up in an all-white ethnic attire.

Suniel told the media that he is very happy as the function went on really well and the family has something planned up for the reception once the Indian Premier League gets completed given Rahul has work commitments in the cricket league.

Athiya and KL Rahul had been dating for a few years until they went public. While they never spoke about each other publicly, the two kept dropping hints on social media. They finally made it Insta official with a birthday post. It was followed by a red-carpet appearance where they made their relationship public at the screening of her brother Ahaan Shetty's debut film, Tadap. Rahul and Athiya were also joined by Athiya's parents--Suniel Shetty and Mana Shetty who share a good bond with Rahul, at the red carpet event.

Athiya made her acting debut with the romantic action film Hero in 2015. She was last seen in Motichoor Chaknachoor (2019).
