Selfiee Trailer out: Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi slug it out in this Raj Mehta film

The trailer of Selfiee, starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, was released by the makers on Sunday. The Raj Mehta directorial is a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Driving Licence, which was directed by Lal Jr. Akshay and Emraan are stepping into the shoes of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu, respectively.

Written by Sachy, the film revolves around a superstar (Prithviraj Sukumaran) famous for his driving skills who loses his licence. However, the issue spins out of control after he locks horns with a motor inspector (Suraj Venjaramoodu), who happens to be a fan of the actor.

In the trailer, we see how motor inspector (Emraan), a huge fan of superstar Vijay (Akshay Kumar) wants to take a selfie with the actor, but his plans go awry when their egos get locked in a battle of oneupmanship.

This is the first time Akshay shares screen space with Emraan Hashmi. Apart from them, Selfiee also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty.

Selfiee is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, and Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films, along with Prithviraj's Prithviraj Productions and Listin Stephen's Magic Frames. The film is scheduled to release on February 24.
