Aasmaan Bhardwaj's directorial debut Kuttey is off to a dull start at the box office. The first Hindi release of the year, Kuttey features an ensemble of Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Radhika Madan, Naseeruddin Shah, Kumud Mishra and others. The film – co-written, produced and scored by Aasmaan's father, director Vishal Bhardwaj – is a comic crime thriller set in Mumbai. According to reports, it has collected a paltry Rs 1.07 crore on its opening day in theatres.

In Kuttey, police inspectors Gopal (Arjun Kapoor) and Paaji (Kumud Mishra) attempt to loot an ATM cash van. Their paths converge with a couple on the run, an even greedier cop, and some Naxalites. The film has received mixed reviews. It is produced by Luv Films, T Series Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films.
