Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival Awards: RRR bags Film Of The Year; Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt awarded best actors

The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards were held in Mumbai on Monday. The event was attended by celebrities like Rishab Shetty, Alia Bhatt, Rekha, Varun Dhawan, Anupam Kher, Ronit Roy, Shreyas Talpade and R Balki, among others.

While SS Rajamouli’s RRR won the Film of the Year award, The Kashmir Files was chosen as Best Film. The Best Actor and Best Actress awards were bagged by husband-wife duo, Ranbir Kapoor (Brahmastra Part One: Shiva) and Alia Bhatt (Gangubai Khathiawadi). Kantara- fame Rishab Shetty won the Most Promising Actor award. R Balki was chosen as the Best Director for his thriller Chup. Veteran actor Rekha was honoured with an award for Outstanding Contribution In The Film Industry.
