Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal to begin shooting for Hera Pheri 3?
The film will now be directed by Farhad Samji and not Anees Bazmee
After a lot of speculations over the cast of Hera Pheri 3 with rumours looming that Kartik Aaryan is replacing Akshay Kumar as Shyam in the film, reports are now stating that the original trio (Akshay, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal) have started shooting for the film in Mumbai.
Earlier, Paresh had candidly confirmed that Kartik is replacing Akshay in the comedy franchise. Akshay had also announced that he has backed out from the film over script issues.
Now, a report by Pinkvilla, citing a source, states, “The original Hera Pheri gang reunites to take this cult franchise forward. While ample meetings about the script have happened over the last few months, the team is now confident that Hera Pheri 3 will do complete justice to all the hype and anticipation around the part 3 of Hera Pheri.”
The source added, “Right from producer Firoz Nadiadwala to the actors – Akshay, Paresh and Suniel are all excited with positivity to return on the set as Raju, Shyam and Baburao.”
It is also being reported that the film will be directed by Farhad Samji and not Anees Bazmee.
The franchise Hera Pheri consists of two films - Hera Pheri (directed by Priyadarshan) and Phir Hera Pheri (directed by the writer of Hera Pheri- Neeraj Vora).
