'Dreamgirl looks very interesting', Shah Rukh Khan wishes Ayushmann Khurranna

The makers of Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming film Dream Girl 2 announced that it will hit the theatres on July 7. Following that, in the AskSRK Twitter session, Shah Rukh Khan was asked about Ayushmann's upcoming film. "Wish Ayushman the best for all his work and life. Dreamgirl looks very interesting," Shah Rukh wrote. Coincidentally, in the recently released Dream Girl 2 promotional video, Ayushmann's character, Pooja, is seen flirting with Shah Rukh's Pathaan character.

It may be noted that the film is a sequel to Raaj Shandilyaa’s 2019 film. In the sequel, Ananya Panday will play Ayushmann’s love interest. Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh and Vijay Raaz will return to the franchise. They will be joined by new entrants like Seema Pahwa, Govardhan Asrani, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Manoj Joshi.
