Vicky Kaushal, Angira Dhar and Triptii Dimri to come together in Karan Johar’s next production 

The film will be directed by Anand Tiwari

Karan Johar announced on Friday that his next production will star Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. The yet-to-be-titled film will be directed by Anand Tiwari (Love Per Square Foot, Bandish Banditsand will hit theatres on August 25.

The official Twitter handle of Karan Johar and Dharma Productions shared the announcement today. "Bringing together the three powerhouses of talent - Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri led by the deft vision of director Anand Tiwari. Look out for the blast coming your way as this film makes its way to the theatres this August 25 (sic)," read the note. 

Triptii, an Anvita Dutt regular, was recently seen in Qala, alongside Babil Khan and Swastika Mukherjee. Vicky Kaushal, on the other hand, had a special cameo in Anurag Kashyap's Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat. 

This is Vicky’s second film with Anand. He had earlier worked with him in Netflix's Love Per Square Foot, which also stars Anand’s wife, Angira Dhar. 

Ammy Virk, who is a popular actor and singer in the Punjabi film industry, made his debut in Hindi films with Bhuj: The Pride of India. He was later seen in Kabir Khan's 83.
