Janhvi Kapoor not committed to any Tamil films, clarifies Boney Kapoor
The actor was speculated to be part of Paiyaa 2
Actor Janhvi Kapoor, who was last seen in Mili, was recently reported to be part of sequel of Paiyaa 2 to be helmed by Lingusamy.
According to reports, it was speculated that the sequel of Paiyaa which starred Karthi and Tamannaaha Bhatia in the lead roles, is on cards and that Lingusamy had approached Arya and Janhvi. However, in what was speculated to be the Tamil debut of Janhvi , the actor’s father and producer, Boney Kapoor, quashed the news as false.
“Dear Media Friends, This is to bring to your notice that Janhvi Kapoor has not committed to any Tamil Films at the moment, requesting not to spread false rumors,” Boney wrote on social media.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi is set to feature in Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan. The film was supposed to release on April 7, but has been postponed due to VFX and technical requirements.
