The 69th National Awards were announced recently. The Telugu film industry won ten awards. While RRR won six awards, Pushpa: The Rise bagged two awards including Best Actor for Allu Arjun for his performance in the action entertainer and Best Music Direction for Devi Sri Prasad.
The Best Actress award was shared by Kriti Sanon for Mimi and Alia Bhatt for Gangubai Kathiawadi. Allu Arjun took to his X handle to congratulate the winners.

Replying to Allu Arjun, Kriti Sanon heaped praise on the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo actor for his work in Pushpa and mentioned that this was a well-deserved win for him. Allu Arjun too replied that he was "touched and humbled" by her admiration.
The Mimi actor further expressed her desire to work with the actor. She posted, "Here’s manifesting a film together. Looking forward to Pushpa 2 with my fav sukumar garu! love and regards always!"
For the unversed, Kriti Sanon marked her entry into the world of cinema through the Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine, under the direction of Sukumar.
