Daisy Shah and Sharib Hashmi to lead The Ghost of Gandhi series

Actors Daisy Shah and Sharib Hashmi are all set to star in the upcoming OTT streaming series The Ghost Of Gandhi. While Daisy plays the protagonist, a woman journalist, Sharib will be seen as a social activist. 

Atul Shrivastava, Brijendra Kala and Deepak Kalra are also a part of the cast of The Ghost of Gandhi. the web series is set to offer an alternate point of view on the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Set to present a historical debate, the series promises to provide the perfect dose of entertainment and strong messages for social good. 

Writer and director Manish Kishore, who has previously written films such as Kashi in Search of Ganga, and Raan, as well as some episodes of C.I.D., has helmed The Ghost of Gandhi.  It is to be noted that the director is also helming Swara Bhaskar's next, titled Mrs Falani, which still awaits a release date. 

Sofia Agarwal, Three Arrows Production and Seeta Films have backed the web series. The teaser for The Ghost of Gandhi is all set to be released by the makers on August 14.
