Trailer of The Kerala Story is here

We had earlier reported about director Vipul Amrutlal Shah producing The Kerala Story, which narrates the story of missing girls from Kerala in the last few years. On Wednesday, Siddhi Idnani took to Instagram to share the film's trailer. The film is all set to hit theatres worldwide on May 5.

The trailer of The Kerala Story starts by showing Adha Sharma as a Hindu girl from Kerala who, along with Siddhi Idnani's character is converted to Islam through conditioning. We also see Adah's character Fatima narrate her ordeal of how she once wanted to serve humanity by becoming a nurse but was abducted from her home and manipulated by religious vanguards and turned into an ISIS terrorist. She eventually lands in Afghanistan jail.

The Kerala Story,  written and directed by Sudipto Sen, tells the story of a human tragedy as it unearths the events behind 32,000 women going missing in Kerala. The film is also backed by Ashin A Shah of Sunshine Pictures.
