Release of Sidharth Malhotra's Yodha postponed?

The makers of Sidharth Malhotra's Yodha previously announced that the film was set to hit theatres on July 7, 2023. However, rumours are abuzz that the release of the film has been delayed. As per a report by Pinkvilla, the film will only hit theatres on September 15. However, we await official confirmation from the makers.

The first of a proposed franchise, the action film is directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. With Sidharth in the lead, Yodha also features Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna.

Yodha is presented by Amazon and Dharma in partnership with Shashank Khaitan's Mentor Disciple Films. Dharma Productions had also backed the war biopic Shershaah starring Sidharth. A poster of the film was earlier released. It depicted Sidharth aiming a gun in combat gear, with bruises and cuts on his hands and face.

Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in Mission Majnu co-starring Rashmika Mandanna. He is also shooting for Rohit Shetty's web series Indian Police Force.
