We had earlier reported that Adipurush, the upcoming multilingual film starring Prabhas, will have a world premiere at the Tribeca Festival in New York on June 13. The film also stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh among others.

Adipurush is a directed by Om Raut and is a rendition of Hindu mythological story Ramayana. While Prabhas and Kriti will play Ram and Sita, Saif Ali Khan essays the role of Raavan, while Sunny is Ram’s brother Lakshman.

Sunny, who is known for his romantic-comedies, shared his experience working with the team. “Prabhas is very humble and that’s what makes him a big superstar. Even on sets, he was very organised and always on time. He used to take care of all the people present on set. So, you will always have a brotherly feeling when around him. I never felt we are actors, it always felt like he is an elder brother to me."

Adipurush is set to release in theatres on June 16. It is backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T Series.

Meanwhile, Sunny will also be seen in Luv Ki Arrange Marriage and The Virgin Tree, opposite Sanjay Dutt.
