Nawazuddin Siddiqui is returning to the romantic-comedy genre after 2019’s Motichoor Chaknachoor with Jogira Sara Ra Ra. The teaser of the film was revealed on Friday. Nawazuddin is reuniting with Babumoshai Bandookbaaz (2017) director Kushan Nandy for the film. Jogira Sara Ra Rai also stars Neha Sharma.

The film is slated to release on May 12.

The teaser introduces Nawaz as Jogi Pratap whose ‘jugaad’ never fails. We also see Neha as a bride, sitting on a horse. Subsequently, Nawaz is seen running off with a woman on his shoulders. A lot seems to go wrong and Neha eventually tells Nawaz that all his ‘jugaad’ has failed.

The film is produced by Naeem A Siddiqui, with Kiran Shyam Shroff as the creative producer. It also stars Zarina Wahab, Sanjay Mishra and Mahakshay Chakraborty in pivotal roles.

Nawazuddin was last seen in 2022 film Heropanti 2 in which he played the antagonist Laila. The film didn’t impress critics and also failed at the box office. Apart from Jogira Sara Ra Ra, Nawaz has AfwaahAdbhutTiku Weds SheruNoorani Chehra and Bole Chudiyan, among others in the pipeline.
