The first poster from Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film Bloody Daddy was unveiled on Wednesday. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar (Tiger Zinda Hain, Tandav) and is an official adaptation of the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche (‘Sleepless Night’).

In the poster, Shahid is wearing a black suit with white shirt, his hair is wet and he looks intense. There are blood drops on his collar. Ali shared the poster on his Instagram and wrote, “Teaser coming soon.” Shahid also shared the poster and captioned it, “Teaser dropping BLOODY soon.”

Apart from Shahid, Bloody Daddy also stars Diana Penty, Sanjay Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Vivan Bhathena, Zeishan Quadri and Ankur Bhatia.

The original film Nuit Blanche is about a police detective (Tomer Sisley) who robs some drug couriers. Things take a turn when the dealer he looted from kidnaps his son and promises to return him only when the drugs are retrieved. The detective agrees, just that the drugs are now missing.

When it comes to other projects, Shahid was last seen in Raj & DK’s Farzi. He is also starring in a yet-to-be-titled film, a love story, with Kriti Sanon. His last film outing was Jersey which failed to perform at the box office.
