Salman Khan has got another death threat. A call was made to Mumbai Police on Monday and the caller identified himself as Rocky Bhai from Rajasthan’s Jodhpur.

“In a call received at Police Control Room yesterday, a man who identified himself as Rocky Bhai from Rajasthan's Jodhpur threatened to kill actor Salman Khan on April 30. Further investigation underway," news agency ANI reported on Tuesday quoting Mumbai Police.

Upon further investigation and with technical help police tracked the number, from which the call was made, to Shahapur in Thane district, located 70 km from Mumbai, stated an India Today report.

A police team went to Shahapur, where they found that a 16-year-old boy had made the threat call. The boy, who hails from Rajasthan, was detained. He will be handed over to the Azad Maidan police in Mumbai for further legal process, the report added.

ANI also quoted the police as saying, “The caller who called the Mumbai Police Control in the context of threatening actor Salman Khan was taken into custody. The caller who made the threat call is a minor. There is no seriousness in this call. Further investigation is underway."

Incidentally, on the day the call was made, Salman attended the trailer launch of his upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi ki Jaan. This isn’t the first time the actor has received a death threat. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who was behind the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala, has threatened both the actor and his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan in the past.
