The character posters from the upcoming romantic fantasy thriller Tooth Pari: When Love Bites, were released by the makers on social media. The film will premiere on Netflix on April 20.

The series stars Tanya Maniktala (A Suitable Boy, 2020) and Shantanu Maheshwari, who made his Hindi cinema debut with the Alia Bhatt-led Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022). It is directed by Pratim Dasgupta and is set in Kolkata. In Tooth Pari: When Love Bites, Maniktala plays Rumi, a vampire, and Maheshwari essays the role of Roy, a human dentist.

The film also stars Sikander Kher, Adil Hussain, Revathy, Saswata Chatterjee and Tillotama Shome.

“Rumi the vampire has broken one of her ‘fangs’ during a hunt. Roy, the fainthearted, boy-next-door ‘human’ dentist is confident he can fix it for her. Sparks fly, and one can’t miss this love story, however impossible it may seem,” reads the logline of Tooth Pari: When Love Bites.

The film is produced by Endemol Shine India.
