Anupam Kher Neena Gupta seek a lift in Shiv Shastri Balboa’s poster

Anupam Kher took to Twitter on Friday to unveil the poster of his upcoming film Shiv Shastri Balboa. The film also stars Neena Gupta, Jugal Hansraj, Nargis Fakhri and Sharib Hashmi. It is directed by Indian-American filmmaker Ajayan Venugopalan.

The poster shows Anupam and Neena as a married couple stranded in a village with cows grazing in the background. Anupam seems to be asking for a lift as Neena sits with the luggage. A pug-breed dog is also accompanying them.

It has been a good year for Anupam Kher. He has been riding high on the success of The Kashmir Files which amassed about Rs 350 crore. He also played a role in the Telugu film Karthikeya 2, which fared well commercially and had a bigger box office jump than star-powered projects like Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan.

The actor is busy wrapping up one film shoot after another. He has wrapped up the shoot of The Signature, that will also mark the comeback of actor Mahima Chaudhary. He will also feature in a short film titled Retake, which is written and directed by actor-turned-filmmaker Shweta Basu Prasad. Among his upcoming big budget films is Sooraj Barjatya's Uunchai, that also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani and Parineeti Chopra.

Neena Gupta, on the other hand, will feature in Vikas Bahl’s Goodbye with Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna.
