Aamir Khan’s mother Zeenat Hussein suffers heart attack: Reports

Actor-producer Aamir Khan’s mother, Zeenat Hussein, has suffered a heart attack, as per reports. She was taken to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai and is being treated there, as per reports by indianexpress.com.

There has been no update by Aamir or the family about the incident so far.

Previously, reports suggested that Zeenat was with Aamir at their Panchgani house for Diwali. It is believed that she suffered a heart attack there after which she was taken to Mumbai. The actor and his other family members are reportedly with her ever since her health scare. 

Aamir is the son of late filmmaker Tahir Hussain and Zeenat. He also has a brother Faisal Khan. The actor celebrated his mother’s birthday in June this year. He was joined by his ex-wife Kiran Rao and their son, Azad Rao Khan. In a video clip from the birthday celebration, Zeenat was spotted sitting on a chair surrounded by her family members.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha. The film, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Naga Chaitanya, is the official Hindi remake of American film Forrest Gump. Laal Singh Chaddha is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
