Kartik Aaryan-starrer Freddy to stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar

Kartik Aaryan's upcoming film Freddy will stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar, the makers announced on Thursday. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film is pegged as an edge-of-the-seat thriller with Kartik in a new avatar. This is Kartik's second direct-to-digital release after 2021's Dhamaka (on Netflix).

Talking about Freddy's release on Disney+ Hotstar, Kartik shared, “I feel fortunate to be a part of Freddy, the story of the film is something that I haven’t explored before. It has allowed me to experiment with my craft and explore a new territory. I'm looking forward to the movie releasing on Disney+ Hotstar soon and hoping the audience will love this new avatar."

Kartik headlined the blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Tabu and Kiara Advani earlier this year. The horror-comedy is the third highest-grossing film of 2022, after Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva and The Kashmir Files.

Besides Freddy, Kartik will be seen in Shehzada, the Hindi remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. His other projects include Satyaprem Ki Katha and Aashiqui 3.
