Riteish-Genelia, Anubhav Sinha, Pratik Gandhi attend Taapsee Pannu's pre-Diwali party 

After Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and producer Ramesh Taurani, actor Taapsee Pannu hosted a grand pre-Diwali party for her Bollywood friends in Mumbai.

Taapsee marked the celebrations for Diwali as well her turning producer with her banner Outsiders Films by hosting a party at Dirty Martini restaurant in Mumbai for her industry friends and family.

The couples Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D'Souza, Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi and Rakul Preet Singh-Jacky Bhagnani attended the party, as did Pratik Gandhi with his wife. The other guests included Sanjana Sanghi, Adarsh Gourav, Anubhav Sinha, Sudhir Mishra, Aneez Bazmee, Pranjal Khandhdiya, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Elli Avram, Singer Papon, Saqib Saleem and others. 

Talking about the bash, Taapsee said, "This has been long due. We started work under our production house and finished shooting 2 films over the last 2 years but just didn’t get time and occasion to celebrate so much that has happened in the last 2 years. What better than Diwali to celebrate with our friends who are our extended family here in this city. It just gave us all time to connect and celebrate which otherwise in our busy lives we don’t. This Diwali is truly one of its kind for me."

Taapsee was seen this year in Looop Lapeta, Shabaash Mithu and Dobaaraa. Her debut production, Blurr, co-starring Gulshan Devaiah, was shot last year. She stars alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. 

Taapsee has also produced the upcoming all-female road trip film Dhak Dhak. It stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza and Sanjana Sanghi.
