Laal Singh Chaddha now streaming on Netflix, just two months after release
Aamir Khan had earlier said that the film will be available to stream only six months after release

Laal Singh Chaddha has made its way to Netflix just two months after its theatrical release in August. This comes without any earlier announcement about the film’s streaming release. During the film’s promotions, Aamir Khan had said that it would release on streaming platforms only six months after its release in theatres.

The film, a Hindi remake of Tom Hank- starrer Forrest Gump (1994), couldn’t perform at the box office. It was made at a reported budget of Re 180 crore but could only amass about Rs 130 crore at the global box office. It made less than Rs 70 crore in India. Laal Singh Chaddha was also subject to a boycott campaign on social media over Aamir’s previous comments.
Directed by Advait Chandan and written by Atul Kulkarni, Laal Singh Chaddha also features Naga Chaitanya, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh in pivotal roles.
