Kartik Aaryan to perform at the 53rd IFFI

Kartik Aaryan is set to perform the closing act at the opening ceremony of the 53rd edition of the International Film Festival of India.

The festival which is held between November 20 and 28, will have Kartik dancing to some of his hit numbers at the opening ceremony on November 20.

Meanwhile, Kartik has an interesting lineup of films, including the intriguing Freddy, the teaser of which has piqued the interest of the audience. Interestingly, the Kaala Jaadu song from Freddy is one of the numbers featured in the act along with the title track of his recent blockbuster, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Apart from Freddy, which is set to begin streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on December 2, Kartik also has projects like Shehzada, Captain India, Satyaprem Ki Katha, Aashiqui 3, and Kabir Khan's untitled next in various stages of production. There are also speculations that he will be replacing Akshay Kumar in the next instalment of the Hera Pheri franchise.
