Varun Dhawan heaps praise on Ayushmann Khurrana for An Action Hero  

Actor Varun Dhawan has dropped a compliment for Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming satirical action thriller, An Action Hero. 

The trailer of An Action Hero was recently released. Directed by Anirudh Iyer, the film follows an exiled Bollywood star, Manav (Ayushmann), who's hunted down and attacked by a vengeful politician, played by Jaideep Ahlawat. 

Ayushmann recently headed for the film's promotions in Pune, where he launched the teaser of its first song 'Jehda Nasha' alongside Nora Fatehi. 

While on his way to the event, Ayushmann went live on Instagram to interact with his followers and give a glimpse of his packed schedule. Apart from fans, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan also dropped a compliment for Ayushmann on live. He wrote, "Action hero lag rahe hai mast."

Varun Dhawan will next be seen in Bhediya, a creature horror comedy directed by Amar Kaushik and co-starring Kriti Sanon. The film is releasing in theatres on November 25.

An Action Hero, meanwhile, will open in cinemas on December 2, 2022.
