One of the much-awaited Hindi projects is Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa. In 2021, marking the 20 years of Dil Chahta Hai, Farhan Akhtar announced his next directorial on female friendships. The film stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. And this venture will mark their first on-screen collaboration.

However, the production did not commence soon after the announcement. While fans have been waiting to know more about the project, Priyanka, who visited India after three years, has shared an exciting update. In a media interaction, she revealed that the film will go on floors in 2023. The exact shoot schedule is not known yet.

The film is written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti and produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby. The film is the latest in their line of road trip films (preceded by Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara), this time revolving around a gang of girls.
