The trailer for Janhit Mein Jaari is out. Directed by Jai Basantu Singh and headlined by Nushrratt Bharuccha, the film is a comedy about a girl selling condoms in a small-town.

Manu, played by Nushrratt, takes up a job selling jhonnies in an MP town. Though what she does is ultimately noble, and seems to pay well, she's easily judged by the townsfolk, including the family of her supportive husband (Anud Singh). The story turns on Manu clashing with her prudish father-in-law, played by Vijay Raaz. Along the way, there are several 'jokes', about umbrellas and cycles, which bear the mark of producer Raaj Shaandilyaa (Nushrratt had worked with Raaj in his directorial Dream Girl). The trailer ends on a rough note, with Manu linking people's discomfiture with condoms to increased deaths in illegal abortions.

"I was intrigued with the concept of Janhit Mein Jaari right from the moment I first heard the one-line," Nushrratt shared in a statement. "To be able to speak aloud about such a hush-hush yet crucial matter, and for it to be laced with humour that will appease the family audience and all of this narrated from a female's perspective attracted me to the script."

Janhit Mein Jaari is co-produced by Bhanushali Studios Limited and Think Ink Picturez. It will release in cinemas on June 10.
