The first look posters of the upcoming Hindi film, Ek Villain Returns, were unveiled on Monday. The film, which is a sequel to the 2014 action thriller Ek Villain, stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria.

The teaser posters show the star cast in nefarious avatars with a smiley mask and the slogan: ‘Heroes don’t exist’. Ek Villain Returns is directed by Mohit Suri who also helmed the 2014 film.

The film marks the first collaboration between John and Mohit. Arjun has worked with the director in Half-Girlfriend, and Disha played the lead in his latest directorial Malang.

The movie’s first looks were released to mark the eighth year since the release of  Ek Villain, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and Aamna Sharif.

Ek Villain Returns is jointly produced by T-Series and Balaji Telefilms, and scheduled to hit the theatres on July 29.
