Amitabh Bachchan’s Uunchai gets a release date

Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra are also part of the project

Filmmaker Sooraj R Barjatya’s upcoming film Uunchai is slated to release on November 11 this year, the makers announced on social media.

The Rajshri Productions’ 60th film has an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta, Sarika, Parineeti Chopra, Nafisa Ali Sodhi and Danny Denzongpa, among others in pivotal roles. The film marks the return of Sooraj Barjatya’s to direction after seven years. His previous directorial was the Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Kamal Kumar Barjatya, late Rajkumar Barjatya and Ajit Kumar Barjatya of Rajshri have joined forces with Mahaveer Jain of Mahaveer Jain Films and Natasha Malpani Oswal of Boundless Media as producers for the project.

The principal shooting of the film was finished earlier this year. It was extensively shot in Nepal, Delhi, Mumbai, Agra, Lucknow and Kanpur.
