Deepika Padukone to be part of Brahmastra universe?

The first part starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will hit the theatres on September 9

Ahead of the release of Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, reports are coming in that actor Deepika Padukone is part of the Brahmastra universe. 

According to sources close to Pinkvilla, the second part of the trilogy will have two significant characters, Mahadev and Parvati. And the makers have roped in Deepika Padukone for Parvati’s role.

It is also noted that Deepika will appear in a cameo role towards the end of Brahmastra: Part One, which will lead the story to the second part.

The source mentioned that the characters Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt) and Isha will continue to be in all the films of the Brahmastra universe. Earlier, it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan plays a cameo role in part one and the actor is said to have special powers.

Directed by Ayan Mukherji, Brahmastra is jointly produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures. The first part will hit the theatres on September 9.
