Koffee With Karan 7 trailer out: Samantha calls Karan 'reason for unhappy marriages'
Akshay Kumar, Samantha, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vijay Devarakonda and others will take the couch in this digital-only season
The trailer of Koffee With Karan season 7 is out. The popular celebrity chat show is going digital for the first time in its 17-year run, and will stream on Disney+ Hotstar exclusively from July 7.
The trailer unveils a blingy new set with mustard couches and decorative palm trees. The roster of guests, most of them Koffee With Karan alums, include Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and others. We also spotted two debutants—Vijay Devarakonda, not saying much, and Samantha, candidly dubbing director-host Karan Johar as the "reason for unhappy marriages."
"You have portrayed life to be K3G," Samantha tells Karan. "In fact, the reality is KGF."
There are enough funnies to fill this season, from Akshay Kumar missaying 'filters' to Ranveer Singh (hopefully) rolling out his 'sex playlist'. The makers have also introduced buzzer stands and a large dance floor. While retaining its hit rapid-fire segment, the show will have new additions named 'Koffee Bingo' and 'Mashed Up'.

Koffee With Karan season 7 premieres on Disney+ Hotstar from July 7. A new episode will drop every Thursday.
