Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon are reuniting in K.G.F: Chapter 2. Sanjay plays the antagonist Adheera in the Yash-led film. Raveena, meanwhile, plays Ramika Sen, the Prime Minister of India.

While excitement builds for the KGF sequel, Sanjay and Raveena are rumoured to join another film together. According to a report in Mid-Day, the film will be a slice-of-life comedy helmed by a new director. It is presently in the final scripting stages.

The makers sought out the actors after Raveena had posted a throwback picture with Sanjay, the report adds. "My most favourite actor," she had captioned it in 2017.

Sanjay and Raveena were a popular 90s pair, having teamed on Jeena Marna Tere Sang, Aatish, Vijeta, Zamane Se Kya Darna and others. They were also featured in J. P. Dutta's LOC Kargil (2003), though not opposite each other.

Raveena recently made her digital debut with Aranyak. Sanjay's upcoming releases are Prithviraj and Shamshera
