Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi trailer release date out

We had earlier reported about the Alia Bhatt-starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi hitting screens on February 25. The makers have now announced that its trailer will be out on February 4.

The film has Alia Bhatt playing Gangubai, a real-life mafia queen and brothel owner from the 1960s. She rose as a prominent figure in the Mumbai underworld.

The film is based on a chapter from Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. It depicts the life of a young girl who is sold into the sex work industry by her suitor who goes on to become the madame of a brothel in Kamathipura.

Gangubai Kathiawadi also has a special appearance by Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, and Huma Qureshi. The film's cast includes Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, Seema Pahwa, and Varun Kapoor.
