Shah Rukh Khan becomes only Indian in the list of 50 Greatest Actors of All Time

The list includes actors like Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Tom Hanks and Bette Davis

Shah Rukh Khan, who has been facing flak over his upcoming film Pathaan’s song Besharam Rang, has become the only Indian actor in the list of ‘50 Greatest Actors of All Time’ released by Empire Magazine on Tuesday. The list includes actors like Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Tom Hanks, Natalie Portman, Bette Davis, Marilyn Monroe, Denzel Washington among others.

SRK’s manager Pooja Dadlani shared the news on social media. Posting a screenshot of the list with SRK’s name she wrote, “Shah Rukh Khan on the Empire list of 50 greatest actors of all time… the only Indian… doing us proud always!”

Shah Rukh and co-star Deepika Padukone are in the line of fire by right wing outfits over the song Besharam Rang. Deepika is seen wearing an orange bikini in the song and that seems to have irked their sentiments. A boycott campaign against the film and its leads is ongoing on Twitter. Meanwhile, Deepika recently became the first Indian to unveil the FIFA World Cup Trophy.

Pathaandirected by Siddharth Anand, also stars John Abraham as the antagonist. The film is slated to release on January 25.
