It's a wrap for Zoya Akhtar's The Archies

The Archies, the upcoming film directed by Zoya Akhtar, has wrapped up shooting, the makers announced on social media on Monday.

With a host of children of known stars, the film features a cast comprising of Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda, who will mark their debut. Apart from them, the film also features Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda and Vedang Raina.

The film is set to stream on Netflix, and will be a musical which will be an adaptation of Archie comics. Archie comprises a group of teenagers Archie, Betty, Dilton, Ether, Jughead, Reggie and Veronica. The Archies is expected to be set in the 1960s

Announcing the wrap of the film, Zoya wrote, “Archieeeeeessssss! Film Wrap. Best Crew. Best Cast. Only Gratitude.”

Backed by Tiger Baby Films in collaboration with Archie Comics and Graphic India, the release date of the film is yet to be announced.
