Ali Fazal to shoot for Anurag Basu’s Metro...In Dino from January

Actor Ali Fazal will begin the new year with the shoot of Anurag Basu's Life in a Metro 2 which is now titled Metro...In Dino in late January 2023. The film is an anthology comprising four intertwined stories. Ali plays one of the lead characters alongside Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur. 

Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma and Fatima Sana Shaikh are also featured in the cast. 

A source says, “Anurag had been planning to make the sequel for a long time but it was during the first lockdown that he got an idea. He started working on the script and simultaneously his search for the casting began. It's going to be a 4-part film linking to each other at some point. Anurag da has done a remarkable job in Ludo conjoining four different stories bringing all of it together at a certain point. Metro...In Dino will have the similar flavour but treated in a different style.”

The first part of Life in a .. Metro was released in 2007. Ali recently signed his next international project titled Afghan Dreamers. The film is being directed by two-time Academy Award-winning director, Bill Guttentag. Ali will also be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's Khufiya and Fukrey 3.
