Zee5 announces new spy thriller series, Mukhbir - The Story of a Spy

On the occasion of India’s 76th Independence Day, streaming service ZEE5 announced its new original series Mukhbir – The Story of a Spy.

Billed as a gripping espionage drama, the show will present the inspiring story of India’s secret agent in Pakistan and the historical events that took place in the 60s. It is centered largely around the secret agent who led India to evade several aggressive advances from the enemy country by providing intelligence and by helping India win the 1965 war.

Directed by Shivam Nair and Jayprad Desai, Mukhbir will feature an ensemble cast of Zain Khan Durrani, Prakash Raj, Adil Hussain, Barkha Bisht, Harsh Chhaya, Satyadeep Mishra, and Zoya Afroz. The eight-episode series, produced by Victor Tango Entertainment, will premiere exclusively on ZEE5 later this year.
