Yeh Dil Mannge More to release on Doordarshan on Independence Day 

Ekta Kapoor-backed Yeh Dil Mannge More will premiere on Doordarshan on occasion of Independence Day. Produced by Balaji Telefilms, the show pays tribute to the warriors protecting the nation. Akshay Mhatre Twinkle Patel play a war-hardened special Major and an army doctor respectively, who eventually fall in love but are haunted by secrets from their past.

Talking about the concept, Ektaa R Kapoor said, “Our independence has come through great struggle and our brave soldiers and their families continue to make sacrifices. Unlike the conventional shows made on our national heroes, Yeh Dil Mannge More gets into deeper dynamics and will not just appeal to family audiences but with the youth as well since there are so many conflicting ideologies. And airing on Doordarshan means we will reach to even the most remote interiors, with this story.”

Yeh Dil Mannge More will be telecast on Doordarshan Monday to Friday, 8 to 8.30 pm, August 15 onwards.
