Sivakarthikeyan praises Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha

Actor Sivakarthikeyan has appreciated Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha after catching a recently organised celebrity preview in Chennai.

In a video byte released by the makers, the Don-actor speaks highly of the film. "Laal Singh Chaddha is a film that addresses elements like positivity, human values and relationships. In today's day and age, we need films that talk about compassion and positivity. We have a catalogue of films that we always reach out to when we feel blue or need some motivation. Laal Singh Chaddha is one such film," Sivakarthikeyan says.

He ends with a few special words about the film's star. "Aamir Khan sir, you are always great."

Laal Singh Chaddha, is an official adaptation of the 1994 Robert Zemeckis drama, Forrest Gump, which starred Tom Hanks as the titular character who inadvertently influences some historical events of America.

The film, directed by Advait Chandan, who helmed the 2017 film Secret Superstar, stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh in supporting roles. Aamir revealed earlier today that Shah Rukh Khan will appear in a cameo.

The film is set to hit screens on August 11.
