Shah Rukh Khan will make a cameo in Laal Singh Chaddha, reveals Aamir Khan

Shah Rukh Khan will have a cameo appearance in Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan confirmed recently. In a new interview, Aamir revealed how he convinced Shah Rukh to feature in the film but he didn’t tell in what role we will see the superstar.

"Well Shah Rukh is a friend and I told him that I needed someone who can represent what Elvis (Presley) represented in America. I need the biggest iconic star of India, ‘which is why I am coming to you’ I told him. He was really sweet and said, ‘Yes’,” Aamir said in an interview.

Shah Rukh and the Laal Singh Chaddha team, have so far, been mum about the role. Earlier, Shah Rukh held an Ask Me Anything session on Twitter. A fan had asked him, "Laal Singh Chaddha dekhi (Did you watch Laal Singh Chaddha)?" He had replied, "Arre yaar Aamir kehta hai pehle Pathaan dikha (Aamir says first show me Pathaan)!! #Pathaan"

Laal Singh Chaddha is the official remake of Tom Hanks’s 1994 film Forrest Gump. Written by Atul Kulkarni and directed by Advait Chandan, the film, apart from Aamir, features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh in titular roles. The film is scheduled to release on August 11.
