Sidharth Malhotra to join Rohit Shetty's cop universe on OTT

Sidharth Malhotra is joining Rohit Shetty's cop universe on OTT. On Instagram, the actor teased a picture of himself in uniform. With his back turned, hair slicked and fists clasped, he is standing amid a row of cop vehicles.

"Rohit Shetty’s cop universe goes digital tomorrow at 11am!," Sidharth wrote.

Rohit shared the picture with the caption, "Action begins tomorrow at 11:00 AM! #NowFilming @primevideoin @sidmalhotra."

There have been four titles so far in Rohit's copverse—Singham (2011), Singham Returns (2014), Simmba (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021). All were feature films released in theatres. This is the first time the director-producer is venturing into the streaming space.

Sidharth's last release was Shershaah (also on Amazon Prime Video).
