Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are now married

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married at the latter's residence, Vastu, in Mumbai's Pali Hill on Thursday. The wedding ceremony began at 2 pm. It was an intimate affair attended by the couple's close family and friends.

Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, cousins Kareena and Karisma, actor Saif Ali Khan and uncle Randhir Kapoor were in attendance. On Alia's side, parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, sisters Shaheen Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt graced the occasion.

Director-producer Karan Johar and Ranbir's close friend and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, in addition to the Ambanis were also among the attendees.

While the immediate family members were seen in shades of pink, Ranbir and Alia's friends arrived in shades of white and gold. The wedding concluded around 5 pm.

The couple had their 'mehendi' ceremony on Wednesday. Ranbir and Alia reportedly started dating on the sets of Ayan Mukerji's Brahamastra. The film, which is a superhero fantasy drama, is slated to release on September 9 this year.
