The Malayalam film Home, which got released recently on Amazon Prime Video and found great reception, is set to be remade in Hindi. Vijay Babu's Friday Film House, which produced the original, is teaming up with Abundantia Entertainment for the remake. This is their second collaboration after the remake of Angamaly Diaries, which is currently in the making.

A tweet from Abundantia Entertainment's official handle reads,

Delighted to announce that we have joined hands with @VijaybabuFFH #FridayFilmHouse to remake the critically-acclaimed Malayalam film, #Home in Hindi. Excited to collaborate with Friday Film House again after working together on the Hindi remake of the cult film #AngamalyDiaries

Home directed by Rojin Thomas is a family drama about a technically challenged father of two finding it hard to reconnect with his children. Indras played the lead role while Sreenath Bhasi and Naslen essayed the roles of his two sons. Manju Pillai, KPAC Lalitha, Srikanth Murali, Anoop Menon, and Maniyanpilla Raju are also part of the film's cast. With a wide release on Amazon Prime Video, the film was well-received by the non-Malayali audience as well.

Shoot for Home Hindi remake will begin only in 2022. However, the makers are yet to announce details regarding its cast and crew members.
