Kartik Aaryan wraps up first schedule of Rohit Dhawan's Shehzada

Shehzada reunites Kartik and his Luka Chuppi co-star Kriti Sanon

We had earlier reported that Kartik Aaryan is set to star in Rohit Dhawan's upcoming family entertainer, Shehzada. The latest development is that the team has wrapped up the first schedule of this film, which reunites Kartik with his Luka Chuppi co-star Kriti Sanon. The film is the remake of the Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramulo

Taking to his social media account to post a picture with his director, Kartik said, "And that's a happy director. Schedule Wrap (sic)"

The team of Shehzada will next move to Delhi to shoot the exterior potions of the film. The film also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Bose Roy, Sachin Khedekar in pivotal roles. 

Meanwhile, Kartik is awaiting the release of the Ram Madhvani-directorial Dhamaka, which will have a direct premiere on Netflix. He also has Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in his lineup. 

With music by Pritam, Shehzada is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Allu Arvind, S. Radha Krishna and Aman Gill, and is expected to be released in November 2022.
