Akshay Kumar congratulates Allu Arjun for Pushpa The Rise Part-1's success

Actor Akshay Kumar has congratulated the team of Pushpa The Rise Part-1. The film which was released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi last Friday has reportedly been declared a profitable venture. 

"Congratulations Allu Arjun on the massive response you have received from all over India for Pushpa The Rise. Another big win for our industry," wrote Akshay on his Twitter handle, sharing a promotional video of the Hindi version of the film. 

He also added that he is planning to watch the film soon. 

Pushpa The Rise stars Allu Arjun in the titular role and features Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, Ajay Ghosh, Anasuya Baradwaj and Fahadh Faasil in supporting roles.

Directed by Sukumar, the film tells the story of a woodcutter, who rises to become the head of red sanders smugglers. The second part of the film has been titled Pushpa: The Rule Part-2. The film is expected to hit the screens later next year.
