Shwetha Tripathi and Tahir Raj Bhasin's Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein teaser out

Netflix India has released the teaser of its psychological drama Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein.

Based in the fictional town of Onkara, the show promises a collision of 'love, politics and lawlessness'. The teaser opens with a man (Tahir Raj Bhasin) falling for a girl named Sikha (Shweta Tripathi). Their simple love story is disrupted when the hero's childhood friend, Purva, shows up.

"Aggressively pursued by a politician's daughter who will do anything to marry him, a small-town man takes drastic measures to reclaim his life," reads a synopsis.

Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein also features Anchal Singh, Saurabh Shukla, Surya Sharma, Brijendra Kala, Arunoday Singh, Anant Joshi, Sunita Rajwar, and Hetal Gada, amongst others. It is produced by Edgestorm Ventures and created and directed by Sidharth Sengupta. Sidharth is known for creating the television shows Balika Vadhu and Apharan.

Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein will premiere on January 14, 2022.
