Director SS Rajamouli is all set to release Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer Brahmastra Part One: Shiva in all four South Indian languages. The RRR director has announced his collaboration at the 3D motion poster launch of the film, which was also attended by the team, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, Ayan Mukerji, and Karan Johar, in Hyderabad.

"Karan Johar called me and said that he is making a film named Brahmastra and requested my time to meet its director Ayan Mukerji. After 15-20 minutes of my meeting with Ayan, I thought he is crazier than me. I believed that he is here to create wonder. I was amazed at the way he believed in the film. I have informed Karan Johar garu that I will be associated with Brahmastra and it's only because of Ayan Mukerji's craziness and love for his film," said Rajamouli.

Nagarjuna, who is making a special appearance in Brahmastra, said, "Rajamouli garu is presenting Brahmastra and you would have guessed by now how this film is going to be. I thank Ayan for offering me this character. When I joined the sets in the first schedule in Bulgaria, I understood that the craziness and madness Ayan had nurtured for years had wonderfully been translated on screen. I liked his childlike quality and the way he had put in all his efforts to achieve what he wanted. He loves cinema like a toy. I am glad to be a part of the film and I am hoping that it will become the Baahubali of Bollywood."

Produced by Dharma Productions in association with Fox Star Studios, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva also features Amitabh Bachchan in a prominent role. The film is slated for a theatrical release on September 9, 2022.
