Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal took to their Instagram handle to confirm that they were married. The star couple tied the knot on December 9 at the Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara, in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Following the announcement, the couple received congratulatory messages from hordes of fans, friends, and industry acquaintances. 

However, two posts, in particular, caught the attention of individuals on social media. First was a message to Katrina Kaif from Vicky Kaushal's brother Sunny Kaushal.

In a post on Instagram, he shared a picture of the couple from their wedding and said "Aaj dil mein ek aur ki jagah ban gayi.. Welcome to the family Parjai ji." He also wished his brother and sister-in-law lots of love and happiness.

Katrina's sister Isabelle Kaif also posted a message on Instagram welcoming her brother-in-law to the family. She said "Yesterday I gained a brother. Welcome to our crazy family!" She also wished them happiness and love forever.

Katrina and Vicky's wedding was kept under wraps until the last moment. There were no statements regarding the ceremonies from the stars or their representatives. The official confirmation about their marriage was made after the wedding.

According to media reports, it's speculated that the two dated two years before they got married.
