Outer Banks season 3 trailer teases a violent treasure hunt

The first official trailer for the third season of Outer Banks has been released online. The Netflix series is debuting the first episode of the upcoming season on February 23. The action-adventure teen drama was created for the streaming service by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke.

The ensemble cast of the series includes Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Charles Esten, Drew Starkey, and Carlacia Grant.

The series follows a group of teenagers who inadvertently end up going on a treasure hunt while trying to find the missing father of their friend. The third season finds the gang finding themselves searching for a golden idol after their peaceful life on the island gets interrupted. The upcoming season will have ten episodes.
