The distributor of Nosferatu, Focus Features released the first trailer for Robert Eggers' gothic horror film. Eggers wrote and directed the film, which is about a woman (Lily-Rose Depp) who is drawn to a terror-inducing vampire (Bill Skarsgård). The cast also includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Willem Dafoe, and Nicholas Hoult.

This is Eggers' second film with Focus Features. His previous film, the Viking epic The Northman, made $70 million worldwide. Eggers produced Nosferatu with Chris Columbus, Eleanor Columbus, Jeff Robinov, and John Graham. Chris Columbus reunites with Eggers after working on The Witch and The Lighthouse as an executive producer.

Nosferatu is not the first film about the vampire. The most famous one is FW Murnau's silent film Nosferatu in 1922, based on Bram Stoker's Dracula. The other films include Werner Herzog's 1979 Nosferatu the Vampyre and E Elias Merhige's 2000 film Shadow of the Vampire, which earned Willem Dafoe a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for his role of Count Orlok.

Nosferatu is set for a December 25, 2024, release.
